SunJoy Books is having a story writing contest! Write a short story, and enter it for the chance to become a certified SJB author. The winner may have their story published in a story collection book. Their story will be promoted on the website and on SJB social media platforms. Write a half-page to a full-page length story and enter it into the contest. You will be notified if you win. SJB does not exclusively hold on to any written material that has not been accepted as a winner (in case you decide to do something with your story). We have junior contests as well. Just select the appropriate age range of the writer below. Junior Writers will receive a certificate as a SJB author.

Write the story. This is to be at least one half of a page long (typed) or a full length page. (Please, try to be mindful of grammar, punctuation, and spelling.)
2. Once, your story is completed and exactly how you want it, enter it into the contest form below.
3. Fill out the form and submit it.
4. That's it! SJB will review your story. If your story is selected as a winner, you will be notified in your email and it will be announced on the SJB website and on social media platforms. If you win, make sure to tell your friends.
SUNJOY BOOKS POLICY
All stories entered into the SunJoy Books Writing Contest will be and are reserved as the property of SunJoy Books. Only enter stories that are purposed for the contest. Do not enter stories that you, the writer, intend to become published books. They will belong to SJB. Authors of the entered stories remain the authors and will receive the credit/acknowledgment of authorship. SunJoy Books (SJB) does not claim the work (story) as its own creation. Stories are, however, reserved under the SunJoy Books (SJB) brand and labeling. SunJoy Books (SJB) reserves the right to use the story in the form of a book or product. SJB reserves the right to accept or deny an entry without explanation. In the event that SunJoy Books (SJB) decides to use your story in the form of a book or product, SunJoy Books (SJB) gets a commission and you, the author, do too.
